Itinerary

Day 1:  Departure from North America.  Complimentary soft drinks, pillows and in-seat entertainmentsystem during flight.  Meals, alcoholic beverages, headsets and blankets available for purchase.  

Day 2:  Early morning arrival in Iceland.  Fly Bus transfer to hotel in Reykjavik.  The rest of the day is open for your relaxation.  If you are the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica, you might want to visit the nearby Laugardalur area, which has a year round botannical garden, the Asmundur Sveinsson Sculpture museum, Laugar Spa and the famous Laugardalur geothermal pool (admissions to activities not included).  If you are at the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura, you might wish to walk up and visit the fascinating Pearl, an architectural wonder.  The building gives an excellent panorama view of Reykjavik. In addition, there is a unique Icelandic Saga history wax museum housed there you might want to visit. Guests of the hotel receive a discount.  (No meals today)

Day 3:  Today is a pamper day! Enjoy the aquatic haven at your hotel's spa.  (NordicaSpa at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica or the new Soley Spa at the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura. Both spas offer goethermal bathing pools, hot tubs and a sauna.  Relax in the warm water and soothing, relaxing spa atmosphere.  Rest of day open for your own activities.  Perhaps you might try a Northern Lights tour this evening.

Day 4:  The day is open for shopping and sightseeing. You also might want to get out into the beautiful winter countryside on a motorcoach sightseeing tour.  Or try an invigorating outdoor activity like horseback riding or caving or even taking a walk along a glacier.  Or maybe you'll try the new "Golden Circle and Fontana Steambath" tour for a chance to experience Iceland's newest spa facility, Fontana. 

Day 5:  Breakfast at hotel. 10:30am departure to the world famous Blue Lagoon.  This is an ideal way to soothe and refresh your body and soul in the geothermal mineral waters before heading to your airport for your return flight. During your Blue Lagoon visit, you will be pampered with a relaxing ten minute massage while you rest comfortably in the healing waters.  In addition to this, enjoy a unique facial mask at the Lagoon's bar.  You can choose wither the purifying "Volcano Mask" or the anti-ageing "Algae Mask."  These products are available for purchase exclusively at the Blue Lagoon and make an interesting souvenir of your visit to Iceland.

Afterwards you might relax with a delicious meal at the excellent Lava Restaurant overlooking the Lagoon.  Transfer to Keflavik Airport for late afternoon flight to North America.   Complimentary snacks, soft drinks and in-seat entertainment system during flight.
